  My Kawasaki ZXR400 L9 has always felt ''wooly'' in the mid range since I bought it about 12 months ago. I took it to Hammer & Tongs for a dyno run, carried out by Sam. This confirmed my suspicion - seriously rich mixture. Having viewed the MOT history for the bike, it received ''noisy exhaust'' advisory notices for a couple of years, but not recently. It seems most likely that it was jetted for that exhaust, which has subsequently been replaced with a Predator system, but not rejetted accordingly. The bike was entrusted to Hammer & Tongs for remedial work, and a couple of other jobs (supply and fit K&N air filter and one tooth smaller front sprocket). The results are amazing. They have transformed the performance, it pulls much more cleanly through the entire rev range and once it goes past 6000RPM the performance is breathtaking. All the work has been done to the highest standard, and at a VERY reasonable price. Hammer & Tongs are a small, knowledgable and very friendly outfit. I will certainly be using their services again in the future.

  Just had a full service on my R6 and got great service from Hammer & Tongs. Helpful,friendly and they did a great job. After being disappointed by two Yamaha dealerships H&T come highly recommended.
